Snow days and Etsy...

I've been home the last 2 days, due to closings and cold weather.  So... I've finally been able to get things listed for Etsy.  Yea! for Snow days...

 

Reflecting on "Antiques" and Etsy...

Today was a "bittersweet" day, as I closed out my booth in an antique shop in a nearby town.  There is not a lot of traffic in the little community in which the shop sets, but the shop is "loaded" with goodies.  I've enjoyed displaying my wares there and will miss the chatting with the proprietor.  There is a time for everything, and season...Ecc. 3:1

I'm looking forwarded to the opening of my "Etsy" this week and the enjoyment of continued "blogging"...

I find a little "irony" in the posts for Black Friday, as I spent my morning sanding my vintage kitchen counter tops from black back to natural wood.  I found a little inspiration to share though...

Mixer...Mercy and M&M's?

and maybe not in that order....

I had seen a flyer where this mixer was on sale and thought with the holidays it would be a good time to purchase one.  How had I existed without??   Baking had not even been in my thoughts until now....hmn?  What to whip up next?... M&Mrecipes from my favorite candy?  and the list goes on...                       

moving my thoughts toward Thanksgiving, I think of those in need, those without and what an abundance I have, and His mercy toward us.

MY FAVORITE THINGS PARTY...

Thought I would start my new blog out by joining in with Melissa at 320 Sycamore and listing some of my favorite things...

about a week after using Aveeno's new Naturals shampoo, I noticed how much silkier my hair has felt...

 I also love...love.. Aveeno's creamy moisturizing oil...it has an almond smell to it...

Clinique cosmetics has been an old standby and a couple of fave's are their creamy face wash...love that it's a make-up remover and face wash in one

I wouldn't want to be without their blush (cupid...color of choice) ...the color actually stays on for several hours unlike some blushes that seem to disappear right after you apply them

Trying to be eco-friendly my favorite dishsoap of choice Seventh Generation...

If I'm leaning toward being healthy, this is a great cookie...although I have trouble sticking with just one...
